Application description

Basic function
An EASY512-AC-R is used to implement a stairway circuit for controlling two lighting sections (cellar and stairway) independently of each other.  Each of these sections is provided with four pushbuttons for switching them.
After being switched on for the first time, the lighting for the appropriate section stays on for a preset time of 5 minutes. Pressing one of the pushbuttons a second time within the lighting period will activate a second time of 10 minutes.

Using the AC-R version allows you to connect the easy to the mains supply without the need for a transformer. The relay outputs also allow you to switch the lights directly without the need for coupling relays.
The preset times can naturally be set as required. T1 and T2 contain the times 1 and 2 for the stairway. T3 and T4 contain the times 1 and 2 for the cellar. Simply download the program and transfer it to your easy. You will see how simple the installation of a modern stairway circuit is.

Additional functions

You can implement the following additional functions quickly and easily:

  • Use an easy500 to control up to 4 lighting groups by connecting the pushbuttons (any number) in parallel to form a group that only uses one input for each group.
  • Use an easy with a real-time clock to program the switching of entrance lighting according to the seasons.
  • Use an easy with an analog input to trigger the lighting control according to the brightness of the environment.
